2009 Ms. Molly Making A Difference Drive
October marks National Domestic Violence Month, and we donate a portion of every clean to Peaceful Paths, our local domestic violence shelter. We also hold our annual drive and accept financial contributions and donations of 'Wish List' items on their behalf. Household items, gift cards, clothes, personal hygiene items, school supplies and art supplies are needed at the shelter. Your Molly Maid team will collect your donation at the time of your cleaning.
Tax-deductible monetary contributions of $50.00 or more will be entered into a drawing for a 'free-cleaning'. Contributions may be made through the Ms. Molly Foundation.
As you may have heard, fire destroyed the Peaceful Paths office in February of this year so their need for donations is greater than ever. The building housed children's counseling, parenting classes, support groups, teen healthy relationship groups and violence prevention programs. While this fire was a terrible setback for them, your donations will help them to rebuild.
Earlier this year, we collected $560.00 from the sale of our Ms. Molly cookbooks. All of the proceeds went directly to the shelter. Thank you for your support of this worthy cause. Together we can make a difference!
