Got Spring Cleaning service today. The planning to share my needs and expectations went well. I learned they don’t help with laundry or do anything involving food like cleaning inside fridge. But they cleaned/dusted blinds and inside windows in addition to typical cleaning from top to bottom including baseboards. I have cats and way too much cat hair, cat litter scattered around house, and dust galore from being somewhat disabled and having a helper for two years that didn’t have attention to detail. Molly Maids arrived midway in the two hour starting window. Two cleaners brought all the necessary tools and even a step stool that quickly came in handy when my smoke detector decided to alert for no apparent reason (failing). We walked through house to introduce them to house and clarify what areas to touch and not touch (I isolated food away from kitchen counters to off-limits table). Then I retreated to my recliner until they moved to living room when I moved to bedroom to stay out of their way. They were professional. Focused. Positive attitude. Quick. My 1256 square foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath single story house took 2.7 hours for the two then we did a walkthrough before I signed it off. Only the sofa needed minor move to get cat steps back in place for old, blind cat. I am happy. I did find small spots undusted. But it wasn’t worth more effort. They would have fixed it had I mentioned it. In fact this is my first mention. Said to say no one is perfect. But still I am so very happy. Price was within the quoted range. Hours spent were reasonable for size of house and level of grime. Instead of recurring service I decided to use a helper for ongoing needs to help with laundry and bringing in groceries and periodic cleaning of outside patio area. But for my next big cleaning Molly Maids will definitely be called.
