Molly Maid Franchise Owners John and Lisa Allard Recognized as No. 1 House Cleaning Service

The AllardsThe votes are in, and just like clockwork, Style’s 5th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards are back! This year, the results rolled in with high anticipation and fierce competition in California. In the house cleaning category, Molly Maid of Placer County took the No. 1 position!

John is very involved in the community where he and his wife Lisa have been in business since 2005. In fact, October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Allards are involved in the Ms. Molly Foundation. The couple was just highlighted for their efforts in the Roseville Press Tribune Link opens in a new tab.

“Nearly one in four women is affected by domestic violence, and all too often, these women are forced to leave their homes and relocate with none of their belongings,” said Lisa Duvall-Allard. “Giving back to the communities we service is a core belief of Molly Maid, and we predict that this year’s ‘Making a Difference Drive’ will be the most successful yet.”

According to the Bureau of Justice statistics, approximately 1.3 million women are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States. Through their 2009 Making a Difference Drive, Molly Maid hopes to raise more than $150,000 in goods and monetary contributions. With more than 450 Molly Maid franchises across the nation, Molly Maid president Kristi Mailloux believes that the company can reach its goal.

“Community organizations need our help now more than ever,” Mailloux said. “Our customers continue to show outstanding generosity during the Make a Difference Drive, and I believe that this year’s drive will be even more successful than the last.”
