House Cleaning Services in Magna, Utah

Molly Maid Team #4 came to my house today to do a bi-weekly cleaning. I have a small house, but there are many rooms and two bathrooms to clean. They did an excellent job showing attention to detail such as dusting my levelers, books, and knickknacks and leaving my floors sparkling. It’s always nice to return home and know by the pleasant scent that my house is clean.

*Updated Review* See original 3-star review below. Long story short, I felt their service was ok, and they responded with an above and beyond level of customer service. Here are my thoughts on my second cleaning: I’m very happy with my cleaning I received, there were a couple of spots in my house that I was VERY impressed with how clean they were. They don’t just clean everywhere, they clean everywhere WELL. My kitchen sinks look brand new! Since this was my second cleaning from them, I compared it to the first, and I know my sink was not cleaned nearly as well that time. I guess that’s what you expect when you have different maids each time. I wasn’t crazy about how the maid/s decided to re-arrange a few things from my bookcases in the guest bedroom, but I can see the effort behind it, and it didn’t take me long to put it back to how it originally was. Bottom line, they deserve 5-stars because I feel like they were more than fair when they offered a free cleaning based off of my first experience (see below). I would have been satisfied with a small discount. I had heard their customer service was excellent, so when it didn’t quite feel “excellent” to me from my first cleaning, I’m happy to report that they’ve more than made up for it. Original 3-star review: My first impression with the different gals I spoke with on the phone that schedule the cleanings was… so so. I found them to be polite enough… but I felt like they were always trying to end the conversation quickly and just hang up rather than making sure they answered all of my questions. After the cleaning, as I walked through my house, I found a couple of things that didn’t sit well with me. First, I had asked that the maids call and let me know when they were done cleaning, so I could return back to my house. I packed up my 8-month old baby, and dog and headed out so they could clean in peace. After 3-4 hours of when they showed up (since they showed up between 8am-9am), I finally called and found out that they had left a while ago and forgot to let me know. The first thing I found at home was a discarded used sponge left on a shelf. Sure it’s evidence they cleaned, but I don’t want to have to clean up after them! Honest mistake though, I’m sure, so that didn’t really bother me too much. Second, I discovered that my clock in my master bathroom was missing the minute hand. It does not have a cover, I assume the hand got snagged and fell off while they were dusting it. I have no doubt this happened during the cleaning, since I look at that clock several times a day, and it was perfectly intact when I left the house that morning. When I called the company to let them know, they told me they would look into it. They said whenever a maid breaks something, they’ll always leave a note letting you know. Apparently the maid didn’t realize they broke the hand, because I never received a note. MM told me they were going to ask the maids who cleaned my house, and get back with me. They never got back to me. Third, and perhaps this is my fault, but I was disappointed to go downstairs and realize they did not clean in the bedroom down there. We keep that door shut, because otherwise our dog will sleep on the bed every single night, so maybe that’s why they didn’t clean it. Is that the universal code for maids as to which rooms they should or should not clean?? When I made the appointment, the gal on the phone asked which rooms I wanted cleaned and I said ALL OF THEM. I had no idea if a door happened to be closed that they wouldn’t go in. Sure it makes sense, but that would have been nice to know in advance as a first-time customer. Overall, I still feel like it was worth the purchase to me. I make enough money, that the cost was definitely worth all of the time it saved me from doing that much cleaning. But I definitely do NOT plan to hire them again, for those reasons. There are several other cleaning companies with just as good reviews, and with similar pricing, that I will go with for the next time.

The staff at Molly Maid are professional, courteous and punctual. The office is well organized, communicates well and schedules appointments promptly sending email reminders close to the date. The team of three cleaners were pleasant, worked hard and left our home throughly clean. They arrived on time and cleaned everything as instructed. I highly recommend Molly Maid!

The 2 ladies of Molly Maid showed up on time. They were curteous and allowed me to work very quietly in the living room while they cleaned around me. They did an excellent job deep cleaning the oven, fridge/freezer, bathroom, bedrooms, floors – the whole time quiet – so I could work! It was a great experience and I will hire them again.

I have been using them for several months now. Dependable and they do a great job. If I ever have issues or concerns (not often) the office staff is responsive and great to work with. Staff turnover is a reality, but not an issue. Everyone they have sent does a great job and often supervisors will come by during the visit to do quality checks and ensure the job is being done right. Tatianna and Luisa have been great and I hope to keep seeing them. Owning a business myself, I love using an agency for maid service. With an agency I have protection and backup. People don’t think about things like who is liable if a worker gets hurt on my property, what recourse do I have if something is missing or damaged, what do I do if my cleaner takes vacation, gets sick, or quits? Working directly with private hires exposes you, the homeowner, to all of these. An agency will staff a replacement if someone is sick, an agency is required to carry insurance coverage, workers comp if they get hurt at your home and general liability if anything is damaged or missing. They have to stress about all these issues and I just have to get out of the way and let them clean. Fair trade and small price to pay. I highly recommend them.
